FREE 2023 Property Tax Review
Must have a property liability in excess of $50,000
As you may know, the State of Iowa authorizes each county to reassess property for property tax purposes every other year. 2023 is a reassessment year, and the valuation notices will be issued in a few short weeks. If you receive your notice and believe the valuation is excessive, our service of providing expert analysis in the review of property tax assessments may be a solution for you.
The timing is tight as taxpayers may only have 30 days to consider, review and file an appeal to the local county Board of Review. 2023 Notices of Value will be issued by April 1st and the appeal deadline is April 30th (or May 1st, as April 30th falls on a Sunday.)
If you are interested in having Swartz & Associates, Inc. review your 2023 assessment and you have a property liability of more than $50,000, please fill out the form below and we will contact you to discuss a plan of action. (There is no fee for our service. We only earn a fee if we are successful in reducing the valuation on the property. This is a win-win situation for the taxpayer and explains why many of the largest taxpayers in Central Iowa engage us for this review.)
