Chris Parrott is a Senior Associate where his focus is on Real Property Assessment Review and Appeal Services and Personal Property Renditions. With a thorough understanding of commercial real estate evaluation and an eye for detail, Chris is able to provide comprehensive analysis, find opportunities where they exist, and communicate his findings in the language of taxing authority. Beyond Real Property, Chris has over 8 years of experience preparing, filing, and appealing Personal Property Renditions for Manufacturing, Restaurant, High-Tech, and Medical facilities.

Before joining Swartz + Associates, Inc. (SAI), Chris spent two years working at CBIZ MHM, LLC in the same capacity. Prior to his involvement with CBIZ, he was an entrepreneur working to develop a system to stream line communications between Property Owners and Consultants. He found the need for such a system while in public accounting with a Kansas City based Certified Public Accounting firm. In addition to representing property owners in real property assessment appeals throughout the nation, Chris was called on to assist in the documentation necessary to support a refinance of an office property portfolio valued at more than $200,000,000.

Before working in public accounting, Chris worked with Key Bank Real Estate Capital Managing a portfolio of low income house tax credit properties. He specialized in distressed properties and developed an underwriting model used by Senior Executives to quantity the economic impact of investing additional funds in to properties.
